Psychological internship within the Bachelor`s degree program
The mandatory psychological internship at the Bachelor´s degree program serves to convey a holistic approach into an exemplarily chosen professional field, that the student is interested in. Further information about purpose and content of the internship can be found at the subject-specific provisions (module “Berufsorientierung” (job orientation)) and in addition to it at the enacted reconciliation targets of the examinations board.

Necessary steps for the completion of the mandatory internship:
- Internship exhibition as a guest:
At the third semester, but before the beginning of your internship, you take part at the internship exhibition as a guest.
Your attendance must be confirmed by signature on the control sheet. - Subject-specific internship support
You attend the internship support courses (altogether 3 appointments), that take place each summer semester (2nd or 4th semester)

Read the coordination targets in order to get general information about the internship. Here you will find information to ensure that your planned internship meets the requirements of the Bachelor ´s degree program psychology. If you have questions concerning the approval of your internship, please contact the person responsible for the internship relating to your subject field (Clinical Psychology: Matthias Pillny, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology: Clara Hemshorn de Sanchez, Educational Psychology & Research: S. Before the beginning of the internship, a written agreement should be made in order to clarify reciprocal rights and obligations.
A model agreement can be found at the download area (German page only). - Internship exhibition as a participant
You create a poster about your occupation and present it at the internship exhibition in the winter semester (usually in the 5th semester). - Record of your performance at STiNE
For that, please send the appropriate “certificate about vocationally occupation” as well as the “control sheet” with all signatures to Mrs. Windisch as a scan by mail.

Short checklist for completion of the mandatory internship
- Reading the coordination targets
- Search for an internship position
- Maybe arrange division & stretching
- Make a written agreement with the organisation
- Attend the internship support seminar
(Please note: students who did not attend the internship support seminar up to the 2013 summer semester take part in the subject-specific internship support courses.) - Write internship report
- Send certificates (“certificate about vocationally occupation” as well as the “control sheet”) in the original or as a scan to Mrs. Windisch.
- Create a poster for the internship exhibition and take part at the exhibition in the winter semester.
