Masterthesis within Research Unit 5389
We are looking for a highly motivated master’s student to join our research project on Dynamic Belief Updating (DynBU) in Adolescence. This study investigates how adolescents adapt their beliefs in response to expected and unexpected environmental changes, with a focus on how these processes relate to the development of psychopathological symptoms.
The project involves EEG-based event-related potentials (ERPs), particularly Reward Positivity (RewP) and P300, to examine neural responses to rewarding and punishing feedback. The master’s thesis will focus on comparing behavioral and EEG differences between these feedback conditions.
What You Will Gain:
- Hands-on experience in EEG data collection & analysis
- Experience in cognitive neuroscience & clinical psychology research
- The opportunity to work with neurophysiological and behavioral data
Requirements:
- Strong motivation and interest in neuroscience/clinical psychology research
- Good analytical skills (experience with EEG analysis is a plus)
- Very good English skills (supervision will be in English)
