New publication in close cooperation with Tania Lincoln's working group!

We are excited to share our new publication by Matthias Pillny, a close cooperation with Tania Lincoln's working group, published in Memory. This study explores how mental time travel engages neural, physiological, and emotional processes. Our results indicate that recalling and envisioning emotionally salient events increases late positive potential (LPP) amplitudes, akin to the processing of immediate experiences, which may reflect neural mechanisms of anticipatory affective responses essential for motivation.
