A new article by Simon Grund, Oliver Lüdtke, and Alexander Robitzsch has been published in the journal Zeitschrift für Erziehungswissenschaft.

In their article, Simon and his co-authors discuss the generation of synthetic data to improve the reproducibility and transparency of educational research. In this context, they address several practical challenges associated with the use of synthetic data and conduct a case study using data from the PISA study, in which they compare different approaches to generating synthetic data.
