Curriculum Vitae
Education
2008-2016 Ph.D. in Cognitive Science. Universität Osnabrück. Overt selection and processing of visual stimuli. Under the supervision of Professor Peter König.
2005-2007 M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences. Universidad de Chile. Top-down contribution to visual exploration behavior of natural images. Under the supervision of Professor Pedro E. Maldonado.
2002-2003 Medical Doctor. Universidad de Chile.
1997-2001 Bachelor in Medicine. Universidad de Chile.
Research Interests
- Mechanistics models of cortical-subcortical circuits of various brain systems.
- Active vision in ecological conditions: understanding how we decide from moment to moment where to look and how the resulting dynamical visual inputs are integrated for visual perception and general action.
- Multi-method research on humans with intensive single-subject recording of combined behavioural, electrophysiolgical, and neuroimaging data.
