Registration and Participation
Registration for the Graduate School of the Institute of Psychology is carried out in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Graduate School’s statutes. Members of the Graduate School are divided into three groups: supervisors, doctoral candidates, and associate members.
Supervisors: All faculty members of the Institute of Psychology, as well as individuals authorized to supervise doctoral dissertations or involved in structured doctoral programs, are eligible for membership.
Doctoral Candidates: Doctoral students at the Graduate School must either be members of a research training group (Graduiertenkolleg) or a comparable structured doctoral program within the Institute, or must have been formally admitted to pursue a doctorate at the Institute.
Associate Members: Postdoctoral researchers, teaching staff involved in structured doctoral programs, and participating supervisors may apply for associate membership in the Graduate School.
Membership ends, among other reasons, upon completion or termination of the doctoral project, by formal declaration of withdrawal, or in cases of misconduct in accordance with the provisions of the statutes.
