Teaching Award Psychology
The Institute of Psychology has been awarded the Teaching Prize for extraordinary teaching since 2014. This prize is awarded in three categories, each endowed with 1,000 euros. According to the preference of the award winner, the prize money is at their free disposal and can be used by the person or by the department within the framework of the university guidelines. The nominations were made automatically via the session evaluation of the participants.

Award Criteria
Student centring
(e.g. promote active participation and engagement, encourage self-study, motivate, enable participation), teaching skills (e.g. understandable communication, commitment, professional competence), connection of scientific and practical relevance, topicality and degree of innovation, research-based learning, stimulate critical thinking, feedback culture, promotion of equality , Internal differentiation, interdisciplinarity, internationalization, media use, evaluation results.

Structure, fitting of the individual events to each other, examination concept
For supervision
Above-average commitment to looking after students outside of a specific course, for theses etc. A proposal in this category must be supported by at least three students.
