Project Thesis (Module E)
Master’s Thesis (Module H)
We offer topics for a M.Sc. thesis related to our research on the socio-cognitive development of infants and toddlers and its influencing factors (e.g. different parenting styles, cultural parameters etc.).
In our projects we explore the social and cognitive development in interactive action paradigms, using measures of eye movement as well as EEG recordings. Employing a comparative approach, we carry out observational and experimental studies with infants and toddlers of different socio-cultural backgrounds.
We primarily look at processes within the first two years of life. Some aspects of our research questions, we address looking at preschoolers and elementary students.
Graduate / M.Sc.students who are interested in one of our research projects are encouraged to contact us regarding possible M.Sc. thesis projects.
When writing your thesis at our lab, we strongly recommend that you simultaneously participate in the corresponding developmental psychology thesis colloquium.
Thus, please contact us regarding the choice of your thesis’ topic before signing up for the thesis colloquium in developmental psychology. This procedure is necessary in order to assure that your individual work and the thesis colloquium are optimally coordinated.
