General information
Our research projects focus on the socio-cognitive development of infants and toddlers and its influencing factors (e.g. different parenting-styles, cultural parameters etc.).
We primarily look at processes within the first two years of life. Some aspects of our research questions, we address looking at preschoolers and elementary students.
Both undergraduate- and graduate students who are interested in one of our research projects are encouraged to contact us regarding possible thesis projects.
Please note that student´s individual topics will only be considered in rare cases. Thereby, please make sure that your individual topic meets our lab’s research focus. To clarify if your thesis can be supervised, please make sure to contact us ahead of time.
External theses are supervised in exceptional cases only.
Theses colloquia
When writing your thesis at our lab, we strongly recommend that you simultaneously participate in the corresponding developmental psychology thesis colloquium.
Thus, please contact us regarding the choice of your thesis’ topic before signing up for the thesis colloquium in developmental psychology.
This procedure is necessary in order to assure that your individual work and the thesis colloquium are optimally coordinated.
