New publication
8 August 2022, by Christine Manor
A new publication by Simon Grund, Oliver Lüdtke and Alexander Robitzsch has been published in Psychological Methods.
In their study, Simon and his co-authors examined the use of synthetic data to improve "data sharing" for sensitive data in psychology. They compared different statistical approaches for generating synthetic data and investigated under which conditions these approaches lead to a better or worse reproduction of existing research results. In addition, they presented "robosynth", a new R package that can be used to generate synthetic data in R.
