Obituary:
In memory of our esteemed colleague and friend Felix Kruse
With great sadness we bid farewell to our esteemed colleague and friend Felix Kruse, who left us far too soon. Felix was an exceptionally valued member of our team and leaves a void that will be difficult to fill.
Felix will be remembered as an outstanding early career scientist whose work garnered widespread recognition and respect. His research in the field of social cognition was highly published and awarded with prizes and grants. His contributions enriched the domain of research on spontaneous impression formation and will continue to have a lasting impact.
Felix was not only a successful scientist but also a person with a big heart. He will be remembered as someone who approached others with openness and joy. His respectful and appreciative manner encouraged everyone to share their thoughts and participate in discussions. His friendly nature and infectious sense of humor made him a highly valued and popular colleague and friend – not only here in Hamburg, but also for many researchers throughout Germany and beyond. Felix was a beloved storyteller whose anecdotes and experiences often brought joy and laughter to us all. His loss is difficult for all of us to grasp and leaves a profound sadness.
We will hold Felix in loving memory. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and loved ones, to whom we extend our heartfelt condolences and support during this difficult time.
In deepest sympathy and sorrow, we say goodbye to our esteemed colleague and friend.
