The scopes, limits, and cognitive foundations of implicit theory of mind

The research project The scopes, limits, and cognitive foundations of implicit theory of mind started in 2015 and is funded by the German Research Funding Organisation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft , DFG). It is is part of a research assiciation of several German universities.

The research cooperation of Prof. Hannes Rakocy (Universität Göttingen) and Prof. Ulf Liszkowski explores infants' ability to attribute mental states, e.g. beliefs and intentions, to others (implicit theory of mind). The aim of the project is to learn more about both the structure of implicit theory of mind as well as its origins and development factors.
