Compulsory module for students of Bachelor of Science in Psychology WITHOUT PsychThApprO.

The compulsory psychological internship aims to provide students with further personal education and training by practically implementing acquired competences, concepts, and theories. Mere work shadowing does not meet these requirements.

An internship offers a comprehensive, in-depth insight into at least one selected psychological professional field or application context in which practising psychologists with a corresponding university degree usually work, through basic practical professional experience. It is assumed that the insight and experience gained relate as far as possible to the entire field of activity of a psychologist working full-time in the chosen professional field.
