Internship During Your Studies
The practical professional activity, in short the internship, in the psychology program comprises 9 (Bachelor) or 12 weeks (Master) of full-time employment in a practical field under the guidance of graduate or master psychologists.
It is also possible to have certain activities as a student assistant - e.g. in a research project of the I/O - credited as an internship. This must be clarified with the project management before starting the activity. In addition, the tasks must have a clear research connection in order to be credited.
Information and advice on internships is available from the Study and Examination Office (Andrea Windisch) and from the module supervisor Silke Ranisch-Lilienthal.
The contact person in the A&O department is Clara Sofie Hemshorn de Sanchez. Internship offers in the I/O field are regularly posted in the showcase (Von-Melle-Park 5, 3rd floor, opposite room 3016).
