CDL Computational Human Dynamics

Social interactions are an essential part of our daily lives. As part of the DFG Excellence Strategy, PIs Nale Lehmann-Willenbrock, Frank Steinicke, and Timo Gerkmann lead a Cross-Disciplinary Lab in the House of Computing and Data Science, entitled CHD - Computational Human Dynamics. The two current projects in the CHD combine expertise from computer science and organizational psychology to explore (1) automatic group affect detection based on multimodal signals, and (2) the development of social dynamics in the Metaverse.
